chipsdog Posted May 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2018 i gamble quite a bit when I am on a ship, which is the best cruise line to give rewards for big gamblers? Similar to getting a free hotel room in Vegas Thanks
CruisingMummy Posted May 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2018 I've gotten 2 free cruises from Carnival based purely on our onboard play. Actually on our last free trip we didn't even play very much, but 3 yrs later they offered us another freebie cruise. They're also good about sending gifts to your room. Some on land casinos will offer you a free cruise on Royal Caribbean.
Sue Do-Over Posted May 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2018 Check with your home casino to see what they offer/ coordinate. In Cincinnati, we are close to 6 different casinos - each is with either NCL or Princess. Princess and Carnival, under the same corporate umbrella, both use Ocean Players Club, which tracks and rates your play on either line. Call the 800# on the website and ask to be added to their mailing lists... you'd be surprised at the offers! DH gets two or three mailings a year offering his choice of any/all of 7-10 different cruises over the next few months. We've never seen one that let us book more than 6 months out. On the flip side, the free and discounted cabins in the brochure might not be available when you call. They allocate a set number of cabins to the casino program, and when they're gone, they're gone. In my own experience: Carnival casino host would deliver an envelope on the last night of the cruise with an offer -- discount, free, inside, balcony -- that had to be booked within a month. Princess sends these 'bounce-back' offers after we get home, and NCL didn't even recognize us as rated players (at least not on our first cruise). Once we took our first Princess cruise, we quit getting Carnival offers, but regularly get Princess... apparently they assumed we were up-grading?
