Best way to get to Museum of the Revolution

After our organized excursion in Havana we have several hours left before the ship departs. It looks like we could walk to the Museum of the Revolution, but I don't know if that's feasible (or safe). What would be the best way to get over to the museum?

We visited the museum last August after our excursion. It is an easy, interesting, and safe walk from the port, 15-20 minutes.

$10 CUC 5 min cab ride and 10 CUC per person to enter.

Very safe, mind you one of the armed guards did tell me off for having my foot on the wall by the fence enclosing the place.

They said I was being disrespectful.

I appologized and removed my foot :)

Interesting museum, lots of great photographs.

Bathrooms were 'well' attended. No paper or seats.

I paid $1 US to use them.
