Hard Day

Boston6

Recommended Posts

Today's been really hard for some reason. When I first started my diet 4+ weeks ago, I had a really hard 7-10 days. Then things improved to the point where I wasn't suffering (for lack of a better word) throughout the day. As a matter of fact, I was actually eating less than I put on my plate and feeling very satisfied. Today has just been rotten, but I know I can't allow myself to slip too much as I feel my weight problem has taken too much out of my life and I have to take control.

Anyway, I'm done working today and heading home soon. Just glad that I was able to post here. It made me feel better. Looking forward to the cruise in 10 days. Hopefully, I'll be able to make my cruise target weight (3-4lbs to go). Then when I get back, I'll worry about the other 40 or so that I have to lose to reach my ultimate target.

Bye.

Hey Boston,

Don't give up!! Believe me, I know it is easy to get discouraged and even easier to just say forget it I quit...but don't! How much weight have you lost in these past 4 weeks?? Don't you FEEL better and don't your clothes FEEL better?? Bet you do and bet they do.

One day at a time and tomorrow is a new day so just move forward and you'll be on your cruise before you know it! 10 days is no time at all...take your mind off those temptations by starting to pack.

Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for the kind words Mary Ann. No I'm not giving up. I'm more committed to this than ever before.

You're right about each day being a new day. I feel wonderful and energized today.

Hi Boston,

We all have "those" days when you just wonder if it is all worth it. In the long run it is! It takes hard work and dedication and if you need to vent you are welcome to vent her on this board!

Sure wish my cruise was as close as yours!

Hang in there Boston!!! Try on some of your old clothes that are now too big for you and remind yourself that it will be worth it. I'm sure you feel better physically also.

It is hard some days seem longer then others or that old chicken breast for the 4th time in the week gets very very old... some how when you wake up the next day things seem better and you'll have a new attitude. I wish I were leaving in 10 days sue

Bostan I was reading your post closly. Four week cycle, 7-10 days. I know for myself, I anilized my eating cycles and found the week before my TOM I wanted to eat everything in my path. Once I found this out it didn't make the need any less but, I new WHY I was in the funck and it made it easier to deal with. Just a thought don't know if it will help.

Keep the faith, we can do it

Hehehe....Thanks for the insight Melody but I don't think it applies to me as I am a male. I know you can't tell from my username. Maybe I need to add my real name to my sig.

Hey Boston

Keep up the good work and on't beat yourself up.We all have screw ups and days that are harder than the others. Don't focus on the bad think about how far you have come. I know it is hard but you can do it. These boards help when we just have to vent.

Start packing that should help.

Have a good weekend.
