Rare knotheadusc Posted September 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Anyone had experience with this line? Frankly, I would have liked to have seen SeaDream Yacht Club buy the Spirit. It looks like it would have fit well with their fleet.
Admiral Horatio Nelson Posted September 24, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 24, 2011 They already own a sister ship and I've seen it inside, it's very nice. The Spirit (currently named MV Sunrise) is actually about to leave it's current home port of Genoa in Italy and head to Sweden for refit and then it will start up again as a cruise ship. Personally I'm glad to see it back as a cruise ship, I was working on her whilst it was being operated by it's current owner as a charter vessel, and it was a little sad to see her sitting idle (as she did most of the time). YachtieRick Posted October 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2011 http://www.oceansuperyachts.com/index.php?action=listingview&listingID=712 http://www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=yacht-charter&charter=sunrise-1926 She's been well looked after, and will make an interesting cruise ship, despite her age.
