We have an outside cave tubing tour scheduled for 9:00 Belize time which is US Central time. The Enchantment is scheduled to arrive in Belize at 7:00am. Does the ship go on local time or stay on US Eastern?

It depends on the ship and itinerary.........no one answer here.

Ships time is usually the time for the home embarkation and debarkation port. Eastern for Miami or Ft. Lauderdale........Central for Galveston etc.

I have been on 7 RC cruises and each ship is different. On the Rhapsody, we never changed the clock even in Key West........on the Brilliance it seemed like we were moving the clock every other day.

On the Grandeur last April we stayed on the port of embarkation's time (New Orleans, Central time) throughout the entire cruise. I understand it's up to each individual captain's discretion as to what time to follow and whether to change clocks or not with each port of call. Therefore it's possible for different ships(captains) to follow different policies.

The tour operator you booked with will know what time you arrive. Remember, this is how they make their living. If you have questions about this, contact them again and make sure they have the name of your ship and the expected arrival time. They will probably set your mind at ease.
