KruiseKrazy124 Posted January 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Do any of the resorts in Bermuda offer day passes to cruise guests? Thanks!
iheartbda Posted January 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2011 The only one I know of is 9 Beaches and I believe they are closed for rennovations. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me.:D
KruiseKrazy124 Posted January 3, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Thank you! That is the only one that I heard of too but you are right. I checked their website and they are closed until summer of 2012.
Host Caroline Posted January 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2011 There are so many gorgeous beaches with watersports and amenities in Bermuda that you will be able to find plenty to do without a resort day! And this is definitely a port where you can enjoy the beaches without the hassle that you sometimes get elsewhere.
Host Caroline Posted January 3, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 3, 2011 You should still find plenty to do and a wealth of choices for a beach day.. this is also a port where you don't have haggling on the beach (or we never have) that you do on some islands. KruiseKrazy124 Posted January 3, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted January 3, 2011 Caroline thank you! That is great to know. I know that at some of the other islands, it is hard to go to the beach and just relax. Going to a resort with a private beach helps you to avoid most of that there. I'm glad that will not be an issue in Bermuda! :)

As Caroline has said, there are many beaches to choose. Most people recommend Horseshoe Bay and that's where most go but there are lots of small, uncrowded and secluded beaches. It's really cool to take the bus to Warwick Long Bay, then walk the path between beaches and "sample" along the way. You will give up amenities like chair rental, snack bar and even restrooms can be scarce but we always managed and it's well worth it.
