Leaving tomorrow. We have an excursion set up in Samana, but the forecast looks rainy. ( catamaran, beach) If a passenger does not take an excursion, can he/she take the tender, and if so, where does it lstop? Any help would be appreciated.

The tender drops you right at the edge of town where you can walk around.

But there is not much to see , its very poor.. The casino is in the old church about half way down the main drag on your right ... ;)

wana buy a shell ......

Hope the forecast improves and you can enjoy the beach. I assume you are going to Caya Levantado. Beautiful place!

Yes, we are going to Cayo Levantado. I am nervous about the prediction of thunderstorms with a catamaran cruise included, but maybe the forecast will improve.
