curtdesilets Posted February 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2014 I don't know how official this is, but it made the Celebrity Century Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebrity_Century In late December 2013, it was announced that the ship would transfer to CDF Croisières de France in 2015 (seatrade-insider) Tres Bummer!!! :(

c-legs Posted February 4, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Hi, There have been 2 or 3 previous threads on this very topic; included was the official press release by Croisiere de France itself, announcing the transfer of Century from Celebrity to them ( all part of the RCCL family) in ''spring '' 2015. While RCCL and Celebrity themselves have been strangely ( and unecessarily ) silent on the topic, it did not come as a total shock when Celebrity re-organised Century's winter 2014-2015 deployment to finish off early and reposition herself to ROME , on a very creative B2B itinerary ,starting off with Singapore-Dubai 22nd March...and continuing Dubai to Rome 5th April.,arriving Civitavecchia 20th April. ( Remember how they repo'd Solstice 2 winters ago from Europe to Australia? This is almost the exact reverse. It's a naturally logical conclusion to presume Century will head for a total reconstructive drydock in a nearby yard after ''handing the keys'' in Rome. I suspect Palermo ( ironically, that's where she spent 29days drydock April 2006 when she was massively refit, with Murano, 310 balconies, Martini Bar, etc....)...or Ficianteri near Genoa Cheers
