December 8, 2017 Transfer Santiago to San Antonio, Chile

December 8, 2017 transfer from Santiago hotels to San Antonio for the Celebrity Infinity cruise to Buenos Aires.

We formed a group of 15 through the Cruise Critic rollcall for our Infinity sailing. The group started forming in February 2017 and started working with Christian Montenegro “The Van Man” email: "christianroy montenegro friedl" christianroymx@hotmail.com

Originally the group was going to transfer from Santiago to Valparaiso on December 7 and stay in Valparaiso the night of December 7. In late November we received a surprise email from Celebrity that the Infinity would sail from San Antonio versus Valparaiso. Christian recommended staying overnight (Dec 7) in Santiago versus San Antonio (better hotels) and he would transfer us from our four hotels (2 – airport hotels relocated from Valparaiso & 2 extended hotels in central Santiago).

The group grew to 21 by the time of the transfer with the six new people agreeing to meet the bus at one of the identified central Santiago hotels

The bus for our group size was a touring coach with air conditioning and capacity was 30 passengers with luggage storage below. The transfer took over two hours due to heavy traffic resulting from an annual religious holiday & road closure between Santiago and Valparaiso.

The per person fee was $50.00 payable in US dollars. The transfer itself had no problems and all passengers were very happy.
