Alpmac--Bottom Bay/Turtles

Travel To Be Free

Recommended Posts

You had indicated only place for Turtles is East Coast--is Payne's Bay the closest from the pier?

I had really wanted to go to Bottom Bay due to the gorgeous pictures you posted, however, my husband also wanted to do around 1 hour with the turtles-glass-bottom boat.

Cameron said it would be about 6 hours so the tour was a little pricey. Is it really 1.5-2 hours from the Pier to Bottom Bay??

If we took a cab to Payne's -- how long would that be? Then how long from Payne's to Bottom Bay? Then from Bottom Bay back to the cruise terminal?

Is there any incredible looking beach like Bottom Bay near Payne's or the port? Accra just doesn't look very scenic ---

Any help is soooooo much appreciated -- had thought of renting a car, but you've basically talked me out of that idea--don't want to miss the ship.
