Can anyone give me advise on the rain forest excursions from Puntarenas on Celebrity?

I will be on a Celebrity cruise stopping in Puntarenas on October 5. I'm interested in the Monte Verde Cloud Forest trip and some of the other rain forest trips offered in the area. They all are quite expensive so I want to make a good choice. Chances are it will rain, right? Is it worth going during the rainy season? Would it be better to just stick to the excursions near Putarenas rather than do a rain forest trip.

We used Cbharlie Soto in January and were very pleased with him...he does not offer quite what you are looking for but he may be of interest to you. He came very highly recommended by a frequent poster on these boards and as I say we were very happy.
