cruiser05 Posted January 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2005 I was thinking about booking a cruise for my parents aniversary. My father is handicapped and has to walk on crutches and bring a wheelchair. I was wondering if any of the ships have accomidations to fit his needs. gkeyes1008 Posted January 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2005 Cruiser05 yes they can acomodate your dad. My mom is confined to a wheelchair and the accessibility is wonderful on the new ships. The bathrooms are wonderful. Advise your TA when booking you must have a handicap room. Also when getting on and off the ship he will not have to wait he will board first without waiting in line. They really do cater to the handicap.. What ship are you looking into booking? Any question feel free to email me and I will be glad to help anyway I can.
