sas80 Posted September 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2009 So DS is "on his way" to being fully potty trained. He is now at the point where he will sometimes head to the potty on his own. So I was thinking about this last night and I emailed my TA and asked if she could call RCCL and ask for a stool for the toddler so he could get to the potty and the sink without help and I told her to let RCCL know that we would be traveling with a "little person". She hasn't emailed me and let me know the outcome yet but I would be surprised if RCCL said they don't accommodate little people.
Kerry's Girls Posted September 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2009 I always pack my step stool for my girls. Upside down in the suitcase, it's light and takes up no room since items just fit inside it. It's also cheap enough that it could be left behind if I was trying to downsize on the way home. sas80 Posted September 11, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted September 11, 2009 The TA said that these things could be requested thru RCCL generally. Since we depart Sunday I am going to need to do it thru my room steward. Good to know that this option is available :)
ottawa_traveler Posted September 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Got it at Canadian Tire on sale for about $8. We've taken it on all our trips for a couple of years now. I hated having to lift my otherwise independent pre-schooler up to the sink in hotels (that routine gets old pretty fast on a 10-day trip!):o. The stool folds flat, yet is completely sturdy when opened, and takes up about the same amount of space as a couple of books.
