Atlantis Transport Question

Hi there,

Thanks to the advice given here, we have booked the Comfort Inn for 1 day for 2 adults and 2 kids. The price we got was amazing - $158 using our AAA card. Will that include wrist bands for all of us?

Also, we are coming in on Majesty of the Seas and the ship will be docked from the morning to around midnight it looks. Since we will be taking the kids during the day for the swimming, would it make sense for us to return the ship to eat dinner at the buffet and then go back to Atlantis for the inside activities like the Aquarium? What would be the best way to get back and forth both times? I see the advice about the water taxi, but that service ends at 6. Would a regular taxi be expensive and safe with the kids in the car?

Any input would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Yes, it will include wristbands for all. You will take the cards given to you at checkin and go to a towel hut within the actual Atlantis resort. You will get a colored bracelet good for the entire day. Pools and water slides, etc. will probably begin closing about 5:00 p.m. (I have read somewhere it will change until 7:00, but I haven't been able to confirm that again independently). So you may wish to return to the ship, shower, change, eat and head back over. Leave your bracelet on so you don't have any troubles. You should not have an issue at all going to The Dig, but you just never know. Regular taxi is the preferred way to get there. It will be about $5 pp each way and safe for kids. We had our 10 y.o son from the airport in one and our friends had their three boys (10,7, 3) all in the same cab as us and we had no problems at all. Your trip will be much shorter. There will be taxis lined up outside the main entrance all night long to bring you back. Have a great time.
