eckmf Posted September 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2009 After visiting India for many years, My good lady and I decided to give cruising a try, we have booked on to the Artemis for a cruise around the Carribean departing Manchester on the 14th of November, who else are going on the same cruise? As I have never been on a cruise before, any advice would be gratefully recieved and faithfully applied. What currency should we take? What are the dining options availible if you decide on a break from the Coral dining room? are there laundry facilities and how much do they cost? What is the attire required on semi-formal and casual nights? what will the weather be like in that part of the world at time of the year? I was in Cuba a few years ago and the weather was brilliant in November. Will I need pullovers? Any other advice on anything I have missed would be well recieved. capasamari Posted September 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Currency: US$$$ welcomed everywhere in the Caribbean, try and take some small denomination bills ($1 or $5) for tips ashore. The dress code will be either formal or smart casual (no semi-formal/informal). For further details, consult your brochure! The weather should again be warm and sunny, enjoy! Have a lovely cruise, Carol x
