Bolshoi Posted September 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2009 We are considering a Baltic cruise on Whisper next August. There would be 3 in our party and we are considering a 2-bedroom suite as an alternative. Does anyone have experience with 2-bedroom suites (Owner, Grand, Royal) versus getting smaller (i.e. less costly) suites? Is there really a significant difference in service between a Veranda and a Silver or Royal?

Is there really a significant difference in service between a Veranda and a Silver or Royal? We have had a Grand Suite on the Shadow shared with another couple--the room for the 2nd couple was a full Veranda suite. It was plenty of room--the service for the suite was excellent, but no better than a Silver Suite we had on our last cruise! The Silver suite has just one bedroom, and probably would not work to well for 3 people--it is however a beautiful suite--plenty of room. We have had a Veranda suite one time, and would not want to travel with 3 people in that size suite. We have sailed twice with our adult daughter--on Seabourn--in that case we got her a suite of her own--we were able to get her suite with a 125% single suppliment--the suites were close together, and it worked out well! dougburns Posted September 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Believe the couch in the Silver suite opens up into a bed for a third person. At least it says it does for Spirit and would imagine Shadow and Whisper are the same.
