manchak99 Posted September 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2009 i don't have a passport for the upcoming 9/26 cruise to Bermuda. i have a birth cert and a marriage certificate (that shows my maiden name and my husband's name). my DL has the hyphenated name. will i encounter problems? this IS what they told me to bring on RCCL's site if no passport (not even a mention on the marriage cert but thought i'd bring it just in case). getting nervous now that i'll have an issue.....it is a HYPHENATED name so they can at least see where i got the two names by the id's! kimberley Posted September 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2009 I can only comment on the hyphenatenated name. Mine they always leave a space. Even when I pay Rccl they wont recognize it for my credit card so I leave a gap. I have never had a problem doing it this way. Unlike when they put the two names together this does course problems as it changes the look and reading of the surname. Kimberley

sheilb4 Posted September 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2009 From what I understand now, a passport is mandatory.... No passport, no cruise. You must call RCCL asap to double check this.
