Cabin R68 on Pacific Sun

My husband and I hace booked a 2 day cruise from Sydney to Melbourne in early December. We have just found out which cabin we will be in -R68.

I see on the plan that this is on the bottom level and right beside the lifts. Has anyone got any info on whether this is an OK cabin - noise etc? It's a bunk but that's OK.

Hi we stayed in R55 in May don't know if you get noise from lift but generally not a noisy area was wonderful position on boat for access to lifts and stairwell and as it was central to everything when you went up to level required Have a good cruise

I stayed in U68 directly above you. I could hear the 'ping' of the lift (the noise the lift makes when it's reached your level and the doors open) but only when our cabin door was open. The cabins are a nice size but you don't really spend that much time in them anyway.

The 2 nighter sounds great. I'm doing the same route in November but on the Dawn Princess :).

Is that the relocation cruise. We too are booked on this but from Brisbane to Melbourne and are just up from you on same deck. Looks ok to me.

Cheers
