Snorkel in Cabo on NCL Star / Late port arrival

We will be in Cabo in October on the NCL Star. We are in port from 11:00am to 6:00pm. I am having a hard time finding a snorkeling tour (not the cruise ship offering) that leaves later in the day. Any tips? Would it be best to get into port and see what the vendors at the dock have to offer? Thanks a bunch for any ideas.

Yes I got a great idea for you. Try Ecocat. Last year we knew we wanted to do a snorkeling tour so when we got off the tender boat, there were a lot of vendors selling tours. I started talking to this one vendor and bargained with him a little. He pointed out our catamaran. It was the Ecocat and she was beautiful. They sail from like 11:30 till 3:30p. Just search Ecocat cabo san lucas to get more info.

So yes you could wait and just book on shore. But I would atleast have an idea of what boat/catamaran you want to go on. Like La Princessa and Pez Gato are also good companies to snorkel with.

Oh and I almost forgot, Ecocat has OPEN BAR!! :D
