lovevacadays Posted September 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2009 I booked a minisuite on the CB for Dec 2010 because of all the great comments about this cabin. One question, is the balcony on the Emerald deck the same size as the Dolphin deck? I like the fact that on the Dolphin deck it is just about as long as wide. roe2ship Posted September 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2009 Yes the mini-suite balconies on both decks are about the same BUT.... E731 is at the end and has the extended length to it, so this particular balcony is bigger.
roe2ship Posted September 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2009 Here is a picture of the extended length, it has the steel rail at the end of it instead of the glass.
DanJ Posted September 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2009 Here is a shot I took from the Carnival Pride in Grand Turk last month. This shows E730 and D732, but the other side of the ship should be the same. It looks like the Dolphin balcony is a touch longer than the Emerald below. cbowler Posted September 20, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 20, 2009 We had this cabin on the Diamond this summer for Alaska. What a fabulous cabin and balcony! Great views out the side and aft! It IS a long walk to almost everything! But, I'd take it in a heartbean again if available.
Whimsy Posted September 20, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 20, 2009 I have sailed twice in E731 on the CB and it was great!
Coolmama_1 Posted November 4, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 4, 2009 You will love E731! We had that stateroom on our last CB cruise and it has spoiled us!

Bythebayshore Posted November 5, 2009 #11 Share Posted November 5, 2009 We just got off the Ruby this morning and we had Emerald 730 for our cabin. Absolutely fantastic is just a mild way to describe it. It is going to be hard to settle for anything else on future cruises!!!:D
oceanicmyfirstlove Posted March 4, 2015 #12 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Dan - was this a picture of the Emerald Princess Dolphin Deck D732 mini suite? Am interested as we have booked it for a November 2015 cruise. Thanks for any help. Sylvia
IECalCruiser Posted March 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Dan - was this a picture of the Emerald Princess Dolphin Deck D732 mini suite? Am interested as we have booked it for a November 2015 cruise. Thanks for any help. Sylvia Dan's post was over five years ago. That is a photo of D732's balcony. The distance from the partition to the aft of the balcony of E732 is 18' so D732's should be even longer. Fortunately, on the Crown, Emerald and Ruby these are standard mini-suites. On the earlier Grand class ships these were intended to be accessible cabins and they have an accessible walk-in shower rather than the tub of a standard mini-suite.
