Ruins vs. Cave tubing

I'm pretty stuck on what to do and figured I'd throw this out there for those who have been to Belize before on what people's preference is. If I do a ruin, I think I would probably stick with one of the closer ruins because the small chance of missing the last tender makes me nervous. I'll be there the last week of October, so I don't know if weather would be a factor. Both ideas sound great, so any helpful feedback would be appreciated!

We had the same dilemna. But, we decided to hold off on the ruins tour for another cruise. There are some much bigger ones like Chitzen Itza and Tulum in Mexico. So we did the cave tubing, since this particular caving tour seemd like something best experienced in Belize. LOVED IT!
