Have you thought of canceling? Heard many have but we haven't received any upgrades - would that happen. We are 5 and the airfare to London is steep. May have mileage for 2 possibly 3. But thought to spend a few days in London and it's pricey. Has anyone suggestions on where to stay with 5 of us(3 kids) that is safe, reasonable or well located?

DCL doesn't upgrade unless it is in their best interest to do so - more availability actually means they have less incentive to change your assigned room, since they don't need space in your category. They also like to limit upgrades to a couple of categories. So, instead of upgrading a cat 11 (inside room) to a cat 4 (family suite), they are likely to upgrade an 11 to a 9 (window room), move the 9 to a 6 (verandah room), and then move the 6 to a 4 (assuming capacity demands require upgrading anybody). Three happy rooms are better than one. They do not appear to upgrade for the sake of upgrading.
