3. are there taxi's at port to take you shopping & to Meagan's bay

4. Is it easy to get a taxi from shopping back to port

5. Is it easy to get a taxi from Meagan's bay back to port

Thanks for any help you can give me.

1. There are shops at both ports, but more shops at Havensight. Otherwise, a short cab ride to downtown.

2. 9:00am

3. Yes

4. Yes

5. Not sure

Was just in St. Thomas a few weeks ago. Taxis will be waiting at the terminal to take you wherever you would like. To Meagan's Bay it is $8 per person and about a 10-15 drive. Similarly, there is a constant line of taxis waiting for fares at the beach, so no problem finding your way back to the terminal or into town. I believe return fare was the same price ($8pp). From the Main St. area back to the terminal it was $4 per person.

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Assuming Carnival is the same, usually in the day or two coming up to the ports they have shopping info on-board, with maps of each port and shop hours. Enjoy your cruise!

Hi, St. Thomas is my favorite port for shopping. I am like a kid in a candy store with all the jewelry shops located right in front of the port. Don't settle for the first price they give you, bargain with them and hopefully you will get the deal your looking for! This time we are going to do Megan's Bay Beach and then shopping in the afternoon. We will be there in 6 weeks!

My friend told me that we all must pass through customs there so there will be a delay before your able to start enjoying the island. The island is beautiful and the beaches are awesome! Have a great time.
