WitchyWoman14 Posted September 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2009 7 of us are booked on the Freedom departing November 15 (of this year). My aunt, uncle and cousin are all booked in an 8E (we all have 8Es, but there are 3 of them in one room)... My cousin now wants to take a friend and get another room for the 2 of them to share. Does anyone know what kind of penalties there are for "downgrading" if she and her friend get an inside or oceanview? The cruise is already completely paid for, and I assume she will get the credit for her current room applied to the new room, but is there a $50.00 charge or anything? I have left our PVP a voicemail, and I am sure he will call us back, but ust wanted to see if any of you had an idea in the meantime... Thanks!!! :p
Sargent_Schultz Posted September 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2009 If you are going from 3 cabins to 4, I would try to get all fees waived. Carnival should be delighted to be selling another cabin.

WitchyWoman14 Posted September 29, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted September 29, 2009 OK, my PVP called back. He said there are no penalties and they just take the amount of the 3rd person in the room and credit it toward the new charge for that person in the new room... :D
