Bayonne Ship Location

I sailed out of Cape Liberty during it's first season and our ship was docked way down the dock towards the end of the inlet. When we got on the bus it had to head left a good distance but over the weekend when we went ot drop my sister off for an Explorer of the Seas cruise they were docked all the way up at the end of the pier. Instead of making a left the buses had to go right which seemed odd to me. There was a cargo ship docked farther down where we had docked and as soon as they left a dredger pulled into the inlet to do some work as well which may have changed things. So my question for more experienced Bayonne sailers, what is the normal location for the ship to dock?

When you leave the check-in building the buses take you to the right of the ship.
