Private Platinum Lounge at the port of Galveston?

Just wondering if Carnival has a private departure lounge at the port in Galveston like they have in Jacksonville and Miami?

Yes, but it's not much. There are two agents who check you in from behind a desk. Off to the side is a small waiting area with couches, but after we checked in, we were taken to the other side of the check-in area, which was the actual VIP waiting area. It wasn't any nicer, just a roped off section next to the general waiting area. Still, it served its purpose!

If there is a wedding checking in at VIP, it gets REALL crowded in there, to the point where the check-in itself almost isn't worth it.
