Weather in Southern Caribbean?

I am sailing the AOS May 23rd, and was curious to know what the weather is like this time of year in the Southern Caribbean?

From what I have heard, the weather is very warm with an occasional afternnon sprinkle.

 

I can tell you it felt like hell in July!

I've been down there in August for several years (St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent, Grenada, Grenadines), and it was HOT and HUMID. Aruba is much further west, and stays cool year-round because of the constant breeze (which is deceiving, because you can still get a very bad sunburn).
