BA Baggage Allowances

Hi again everyone ............ thanks once again for all your replies ...... just to keep you updated we have resigned ourselves to the 1 x 23kg bag and as much as we can cram into our hand luggage and will be paying for an extra bag for the flight home so we can still buy souvineers and prezzies for our 3 children....... :o))

We are however writing a formal complaint to princess asking them to take this issue seriously and to bring BA to task over the fact that they are penalising us as Princess passengers with regards to the baggage allowances ........... I don't hold out much hope of a response but who knows sometimes miracles can happen .............. or so I've been told by the tooth fairy !!! hahaha :D

Hi There,

You will find you can get a lot into 23kg all cruises we have ever done

have had this allowance until next weeks when we have 100kg in total.

You will still find you will pack stuff that you do not need.

Sonic,

It appears that we are all using different routes to get to Quebec

yours Shogun

We booked cruise on Grand Princess last year and are going next week- we are going to Rome via Amsterdam with KLM and returning to Aberdeen via Heathrow -all booked by Princess and the ticket clearly states that its one piece of luggage-max weight 23KG. That's British Airways new rules!

Did panic for a start but as others have said just have to mix and match clothes for evenings-take less shoes(a major worry for us woman!) and hope that princess laundry rooms are not too busy. We are going to the med so should be nice enough to take t-shirts etc but if going on a colder weather cruise would panic a bit more- all airlines are going the same way so don't think much Princess can do.

Better go and finish the packing-off on Tuesday morning-will weigh the case before we go. Happy holidays to all:)
