I'm booked Oct 25th on th Victory out of San Juan. Any idea what the replacement port is? If I gotta do a day at sea because these clowns wouldn't pay the cab fare I'm boycotting Brooklyn. Wait, I've boycotted Brooklyn for the last 30 years.

I seriously doubt that Carnival is dumping Antigua over this one incident.

Passengers get into trouble in othe ports too, but Carnival doesnt drop them.

Something else must have been going on before this incident. Just because we dont hear about in the news or on Cruise Critic doesnt mean stuff isnt happening.

This is just my opinion of course.

Anyone else agree?

The couple getting murdered there, along with a few other incidents helped a little too I'm sure.

We did the Destiny Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan, Thanksgiving weekend 2007 that cruise included Antigua. Two months later it was dropped for St Kitts. Carnival switches the ports around on purpose for this itn. Since its so port inclusive (7 ports in 7 days, 6 out 7 when we did it) they try to freshen it up occasionaly.

You will still go to Antigua... Carnival is changing the itinerary as of Jan 1st 2010, to include St Marten instead of Antigua. Still no at sea days.... which is good. Enjoy your cruise.
