Swedish Massage in Lotus Spa - Thoughts, reviews?

Anyone gotten a massage at the Lotus Spa. They are pretty pricey, but indulging myself anyway. Anyone done this and have any comments on the staff/treatments?

I get a Swedish massage on every cruise! My experience has been good, but keep in mind every masseuse is a little different. On the Diamond Princess, I had the best massage I have EVER had. On the Emerald, the massage was good, but not the best. One day there was a "special", I can't remember what it was called, but it was 20 minutes of head, shoulders, feet, etc. It was amazing, especially after a day of walking on cobblestone streets in Tallinn, Estonia. Another option, is the hot stone massage (that was on the Coral, in Alaska). It is pricey, but I loved every minute.

Whatever you choose, enjoy! Lucky you!

While on the Crown I got the exotic lime and ginger salt glow and well being back message. OMG!!! It was amazing. I had pre reserved the service and found out that I can get it for a lower price while we were in port. I was also given a mini facial for free.

I plan on getting the same spa service while on the CB.

Unless I'm forgetting one I believe I've had at least one massage on every cruise we have taken. As said, some have been better than others and except for a couple of them none as good as my local land locked massages. But, the key to your comment is "indulging myself anyway" - that is the way I always feel about it. It is an indulgement but never a bad one. And yes, they will try to sell you everything they can but I find just politely and firmly saying NO Thank-you does the trick.

Hint:

Just fill out the paper they give you with the basic info..they use this to sell things to you.

Tell them at the begining you are not interested in buying anything and just want to relax. I do this all the time and I have NEVER been asked to buy anything!!! I tip them well for listening!!
