taxi to 7 mile beach

First, how far is 7 mile beach from the ship, and how much would a cab cost? Do you just go to a hotel and buy a day pass? Thanks for any information.

Depending on where you want to go on the beach will help you with timing. If you choose to go to Sea Grape or Courtyard a taxi ride is about 10 mins or so. $5 pp each way. Taxis are at the pier and they are waiting at the beach to return. No need for a day pass as the beach is free. There are vendors there to rent you chairs, umbrellas, these two locations have drinks, food, restroom facilities, outdoor shower, water sports rentals, etc. We went to Courtyard and loved it. Walked over to Sea Grape to rent jet skis, as Courtyard wasn't renting that day.
