Yes, it makes check-in a whole lot easier. You really just need to print out the "set sail pass" you have after you complete the online process and take it with your credit card and your identification to the check-in station/window. (You don't really need to show them your paper docs at all.) The two documents just verify what you've already entered online. If you don't do this, all of the info will have to be manually entered into their computer when you check-in.
