cruiseboy49 Posted November 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Hi All, We've booked adjacent D2 category cabins on the Explorer of the Seas for the Dec. 11 cruise. What are the chances that we can get the staff to open the balcony walls to allow for 1 big balcony? Is this just wishful thinking? :D Thanks! emilyrachael Posted November 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Most of the balconies on Explorer are actually built into the ship....so they can't be open.

Friends of ours booked adjoining balcony staterooms on the 6th floor. I've seen the balconies looking different on Mariner. Thanks for the info.
