bermuda wedding reception site and photographer

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of a great photographer who is somewhat affordable for our August 2010 wedding?

 

Also, we are looking for a reception site. We came across Splendido, which looks great and there is no site fee, but just wondering if there are other options out their and price range. We will have about 50 people with us.

 

Also, can anyone tell me what a price range might be for having our reception back on our ship? we are traveling on the Enchantment of the Seas in August 2010. I just finalized my contract with a wedding planner so I do have that help (she came up with Splendid), but I also would love to hear any advice/warnings from people!! We are getting married at Jobsons Cove! We are so excited! Thanks for any help!!!!

Splendido will be fine for your reception, though I must confess I have little experience in that side of things - I'd rely on your wedding planner for that.

If you want to pass along some constructive criticism to your friend, his shots (as few as I looked at) look good, but the website skin is wrong for wedding photos. It would be appropriate for a NASCAR type website. He'd do better with a more romantic or at least a beachy theme. Also the sounds that are made when you try to look through photos turned me off to the point that I stopped looking at his work. It was beyond distracting, and became annoying.

 

I am not saying this to be a mean person... I'm just offering my opinion as someone who is looking for a Bermuda photographer. I hope it is helpful!
