Nassau-Atlantis Tour question

Hello,

 

We (9 adults) will be arriving at 12 noon, via Monarch of the Sea on Nov 14th.

 

We are thinking about taking the taxi straight to Atlantis for the Aquarium or beach package that in mentioned in another post, and then coming back to Nassau downtown for a self walking tour (Queens staircse, Straw market). We woud like to be back on boat by 6pm.

 

Never been here and don't know the time required to do this, travel times or what time these places close.

 

Anyone know what taxi we would need to take to Atlantis (and back to downtown) and where we would board? ( we need one for 9, if possible).

 

We are assuming the distances downtown are short enough to walk to various places and be close to ship?

 

Is this doable? If not, any alternate plans would be appreciated.

There is so much to see at the Atlantis aquarium that you may spent all of your time there. It is amazing. Just watch your watch. All destinations mentioned above are short trips in a taxi.
