LenRye Posted November 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2009 Hi All We will be arriving at Cabo San Lucas on Jan 15th on the Celebrity Constellation. Our itinerary says we arrive at 8am. We were hoping to book the Pez Gato whale watching tour. As we are tendered do you think we will be able to get to ashore in time for the 10am trip, supposed to be there by 9:30. Does anybody have any experience of the time it takes to tender here? Len & Deb
SDPadreFan Posted November 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2009 The tender ride is a quick trip and Pez Gato's dock is probably only a 5 min walk or less. Unless things have changed, they'll have a little table & chairs set up at the dock entrance to collect money or verify your reservation (if prepaid). You should have plenty of time but I would still try to get off the ship early. You can always hang out at the Mercado near the tender pier (or even better at Soloman's Landing). Soloman's Landing is probably another 5 minutes PAST the Pez Gato dock.
Colorado Kat Posted November 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2009 Try to find out if ship-time and land-time is the same in Cabo. That could make a difference. If the same, you should be fine. Kathy
DRMizzou Posted November 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2009 We were in Cabo in February 2008 and took the Pez Gato whale watching tour. Excellent!! I would highly recommend. As others have said, the Pez Gato dock is pretty close to where the cruise ship tenders come in. We were not on a cruise; so I can't speak to how long it takes to tender from the ship. Hope it works out. Enjoy!!
