Cruises during Chanukah

Does NCL do anything to celebrate Chanukah on cruises during this time frame?

Short answer, yes. Run a search as this came up a few months ago.

 

Last year, on the Pearl they had a Rabbi on board who conducted services each night. NCL provided latkes and applesauce.

yep we were on the jewel during chanukah and will be o nthe dawn this year. they do a little service once a day where they light candles (electronic of course) and they had challah and maybe even a bit of wine or grape juice if my memory serves me..

Our last cruise was on HAL - but also during Chanukah. They had a nice room set aside for us - provided us with wine nightly, as well as cookies, etc. It was a nice balance for all of the Christmas decorations everywhere else on the ship!

 

BridgeMaven - we are on your same cruise, John has already mentioned that he wanted to find a similar experience on this trip (celebrating Chanukah). So - if it doesn't exist - he would probably be interested in helping you make it happen. Are you a mah-jongg maven too?
