PT 109 Posted November 16, 2009 #27 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I think the shoes are because they knew that going barefoot in public areas is not allowed. :) you need to get that bug off your comp screen, he is bugging everyone
gertz Posted November 16, 2009 #28 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I think the shoes are because they knew that going barefoot in public areas is not allowed. :) Well maybe not. They could be service dogs. Then they could go any place they were directed to go. And I agree. Squash that bug!!!:D:D
Celest1022 Posted November 23, 2009 #29 Share Posted November 23, 2009 We just got off the Golden this morning and saw most of the rescue. The dogs paws were taped with duck tape before they were put on the life raft. So it would prevent them from puncturing the raft. We have many pictures of the rescue and also the crew took video of the rescue and it was put on the Reflections tape. They did interviews with the couple on board. If you have any questions just ask. The Capt said it cost between $60,000 and $70,000 in fuel to rescue them. I'd be glad to answer any of your questions.
