Tendering Priorities on Crown

We would like to do an independent tour in Grand Cayman but the ship docks at 7 and the tour starts at 8:30. What are Princess's tendering procedures for people with independent tours? I know that people who book the the ship's excursions usually get priority but if we tell them ahead of time that we need to be on shore at a certain time, will they accomodate? Thanks!

No they won't. Just get to the Princess theater early and get a low number. They call groups by the number on the tender ticket. We have sometimes been on a tender before a Princess group. The tendering process actually goes very quickly.
