JessInNY Posted November 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2009 :rolleyes:Good Evening All, Does anyone know if they have Yoga or Pilates on Carnival Freedom - if so, how often, how much? Do they provide Yoga mats? Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you. Just a few weeks and I'm on my cruise :) Have a nice evening. skidawg71 Posted November 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2009 my partner and I take the Yoga and Pilates classes on every cruise we are on. They are usually 9 or 10 dollars per class and there is never more than 8 to 10 people there each day. In the end, it may be a little pricey, but we've always found it worth it. The insturctors are well trained and knowledgeable. Depending on the weather, yoga can be very challenging on a moving ship! Other than that, we don't pay for any other spa services. They gyms on Carnival are so good, and they have seperate large steam and sauna rooms in both men's and lady's changing rooms to relax and loosen up aferwards. I find Carnival's spa menu to be delicious and well portioned. I get grossed out watching the excess and over consumption of so much food by other cruise goers, especially in the buffets. bumbles Posted November 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2009 I just got off the Freedom 6 day Western cruise and they offered a 'stretch and relax' class free every day. They also offered a Yoga class and Pilates class once each during the cruise ($12 fee). I did not attend any of them so can't comment on whether they would be worth it or not. JessInNY Posted November 24, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted November 24, 2009 I really appreciate the information! I think I would miss Yoga and Pilates too much if I had to go a week without them. Have a nice evening. Jess
