Where to Dive: Belize or Costa Maya?

We will be on a RCCL cruise in a couple weeks and can't decide where to dive. We are stopping at Costa Mayuma, Belize and Cozumel. We've done Cozumel a few times and need to decide on are Belize or Costa Maya. Any opinions are out there?

Costa Maya. You will be forced to dive at Turneffe Atol in Belize if you dive with the ship. Not the best Belize diving.

I think we decided to dive in Costa Maya. Any advice on a independant operator or should we go with the ship? TIA!

Thanks. I emailed Dreamtime and they quickly responded that they are the operators of the cruise ships dive excursions. Go figure... Might book directly through the ship but waiting on a response from Blu Ocean Safari. Any experience with them?

We used Blue XTC. This was before the hurricane decimated Costa Maya. They may be XTC now.
