undertaker1013 Posted November 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Hoping you all will be patient and helpful enough (our new repaired laptop won't be for another week and can only do so much on my hubby's palm)- I'm planning a Oct. '10 Carnival Pride vow renewal for only the two of us (unless we make fast friends to partake in cake and champagne to take pix). I really don't know what to expect- will we be the only couple or a mass ceremony, can I give them the ceremony we want read (only about ten or 15 min total).....is the beauty parlor ridiculous for helping if I bring a pic of how I would like my hair (just curls in updo) and makeup with the pix- how's that work, will only a few be taken, can I request certain poses, I know we can buy afterward but how 'scary' are the prices or is there like a disk with all shots? Sorry for sounding so stupid but our first wed 4 yrs ago was thrown together for the purpose we wanted to be married more importantly than the ceremony- I'd like to try and make it up to him now. holstang Posted November 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Well, as far as having a vow renewal, they pretty much plan it out for you, but it will be private. For the pictures- what I did is find a few pictures that I liked and printed them out to show the photographer. That was he knew they style I was looking for- for instance I didn't want any fake backdrop poses. The packages with the cd start at $750 I believe. We purchased the least expensive package, as we had a second photographer I hired just to take candids. We will be scanning and making our own photo book. Hope this helps!
