galensgrl Posted January 25, 2010 #29 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Our #1 favorite port to cruise to is Bermuda. It's beautiful, and it's easy to get around Bermuda by public transport. We use buses and the ferries only, no taxis whatsoever. There are lots of things to do there as well. Last time we did a tour of the famous sites, went to the Maritime Museum and saw the Dolphin Encounter, took a ride on a glass bottom boat tour at night, spent a day exploring Hamilton and did some shopping and dining there, went to the aquarium and zoo, and went to an art museum intown Hamilton that I believe was in the city hall or other municipal building. When we go again in May, we plan on going to the perfume factory, checking out one of the beaches, trying the rum cake, and going back to the Maritime Museum to take photos of the breathtaking ocean views. We also want to get a glimpse of the nightlife, maybe have some drinks at the Frog and Onion one evening ;) We really love Bermuda, and we think cruising is a fun way to get there!
