It almost always calls for rain. If it is a low percentage I wouldn't worry about it. We had a 30% or so chance last week in those places and never saw a drop.

Don't fret...we went to Punta Cana this past summer and the weather report said rain every day. :eek: It rained 1 night for about 1 hr total in 7 days. I drove myself crazy worrying for nothing! :rolleyes:

It rains a lot in the tropics. Don't worry about it.

We were in Cozumel a few weeks ago. When I started looking at the forecast about a week before we were going, it called for lots of rain. The day before we left for Florida the forecast changed and we had a sunny, beautiful day in Cozumel. Don't worry yet!!

I've been to Cozumel 7 or 8 times..almost every time the rain starts right about the time the ship is due to debark. I think the locals arrange it this way to wake up the drunks so they don't miss the ship

It rained the whole time I was in Cozumel last month, and the whole time in Grand Cayman, and part of Belize. First time it's ever rained more than one day on a cruise for me. It's bound to happen sometime :)

we spent 4 days in jamacia waiting for our ship .called for rain it only rained twice and both times was late at night

I have never seen anyone melt in the rain, lol. Just kidding!!! It did rain while we were in Cozumel but it didn't last long. Have a wonderful trip and report when you get back.
