SailinC2C Posted December 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2009 How is the availibility of deck chairs on sea days? With 2 wave riders, basketball, golf, the children's area, and the open area to the sky, it doesn't seem to me that there is much space left for deck chairs! Especially for 6000 people. What are the experiences of those who have sailed so far?
mariefisher Posted December 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2009 There are deck chairs everywhere! Can't imagine it being a problem. You may not get one at the ledge of one of the many pools, but all the open decks have chairs upon chairs almost to the point of being funny. There were plenty of deck chairs around the pool and on the upper decks, just not much in the Solarium and in the shade.:(
zevrosenthal Posted December 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 8, 2009 We just got off the 4 day Labadee cruise. As reported by others, there are deck chairs everywhere! The weather was beautiful on both sea days and, even then, you could find chairs easily. It was crowded by the 2 adult pools and in the solarium (but you could still find space) and everywhere else - 16th floor "Skywalk"; 14th floor forward above the bridge, 17th floor above the solarium, kids pool, running track, covered areas in/among the pools and hot tubs - there were deck chairs galore! Several times we noted that, for 5,000 people, the ship didn't feel crowded and getting a deck chair very much wasn't a problem.
