Woje17 Posted December 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2009 I am looking to book the Greek Isles & Mediterranean - Rome to Venice cruise on June 22. Current prices are $1799 for interior and $3199 for balcony. Has anyone had success getting lower prices for this cruise? Are these good prices, I have not been on Princess before? Thanks. Looks about right, to me--12 nights, I presume?. Are those Princess website prices? Some travel agents (your own hometown agent, or even the usual online suspects) will do a bit better than that, but different ways of booking cruises each have their own potential upsides and downsides; be sure to consider that before choosing a booking conduit. Definitely check with some discount travel agents. If you find they are giving you the same price you got from Princess, keep looking. You can usually get a very good discount on Princess cruises, but you have to find the right agent first. And many included extra shipboard credit for your cruise. Good Luck! Woje17 Posted December 12, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted December 12, 2009 Thanks! So if a TA is usually cheaper, what are the advantages of booking through Princess?
