Packedready Posted December 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2009 Does anyone know where NCL's Beach Break tour takes you to? The picture shows an island and it looks like a nice beach. Just wondering if it is worth taking? Denise
elisamarie Posted December 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2009 It's Bannister Island. We did this in February with NCL and they pick you up at the ship, take you to the beach, adn return you to the ship. Very nice way to get there, you don't have to go into port to get on the boat to take you to the beach. Saves time and about the same price as Coral Breezes (who we did snorkel with the time before and it was WONDERFUL).
Packedready Posted December 19, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted December 19, 2009 Thank you for the info, I really appreciate it. Was the beach good there? How about snorkeling, did you do any? Was there resturants and shops also? Sorry about all the questions, but I am just getting really excited. Denise
elisamarie Posted December 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2009 The beach was great, they had a bar with food and drinks. We had Rum Punch with the excursion and it was yummy. We didn't eat, but some around us did and said it was really good. Beach was really clean and very nice, white sand. I don't know about snorkeling off the beach, but if you really want to snorkel, do an excursion to the reef. We did it with Coral Breezes a couple of years ago and it was the best snorkeling we have ever done. The reef is beautiful and we saw some great fish. Packedready Posted December 20, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Thank you for all the info, can't wait to get there. The management of Bannister emailed me and they are extending their tour to 5 hours instead of four.
