call from carnival-victory-conjested pier?

Hello! My dad said Carnival called today and something about a conjested pier/dock? He said the message said something about going to carnival.com, but I can't seem to find anything there. My dad is horrible with messages and now mom is freaking out seeing as how we leave Sunday. Did anyone else get a call? What was the message supposed to say? Thanks, M

Did you try calling the Carnival 800 #? If they don't know immediately, maybe there is a note in your reservation.

Carnival Victory has switched the ports for Dec 25 and 26.

Dec 25- St. Kitts 8-6

Dec 26- Antigua 7-4

It may have also been the "Please don't show up too early because of the conjestion with passengers disembarking while you wait to embark" call. I've gotten a few of those while leaving from Long Beach.

This sounds plausible. The loading/off loading area at the Carnival Pier in San Juan is a nightmare and very congested. We were there in September. It is a very small area with dozens and dozens of buses, vans cabs trying to get in and out. Plus all the passengers getting off the ship intermingling with those waiting to get on.
