Barbados Cycle hire

Hi, has anyone on the forums hired a bicyle in Barbados from the cruise terminal? An idea of price and where to cycle to would be great - thanks

My opinion is unless you are a good regular competant cyclist, & fit don't do it. The cruise terminal is in a busy area, heading North is a busy commercial area, the cricket ground is there though. Turn right (

Turn right (East) you go along busy Highway 7 but along the South coast beaches & strip of bars, a busy road with mad drivers, deep ditches & potholes!

In theory it sounds lovely & people do it. If you are young & healthy with good nerves, lots of hills too if you head inland. Some ships have bikes & do escorted tours...Ocean Village for one!!
