Emily76 Posted January 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Hi! We leave in one week for our Island Princess Panama Canal cruise from Acapulco to Fort Lauderdale. We are going ziplining in Costa Rica with the Adventure Park Hotel Vista Golfo. It involves a 30 min horseback ride to the start point, then 25 ziplines over 11 waterfalls. My husband and I are fairly athletic and have done a canopy tour / ziplining in Dominica before where we wore shorts. However, friends traveling with us are concerned about bringing jeans to wear as it is recommended with the horseback riding. We figured the jeans/pants would be awfully hot and muggy with the water involved. Does anyone have any experience with this particular company and excursion, and whether jeans/pants necessary or preferred? Thanks, Emily76 www.tomandemily.com
Putterdude Posted January 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2010 I would be inclined to wear jeans for the horseback part of the excrusion and then leave them with your guide or put them in a backback.
ck53 Posted January 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2010 My neice did the same excursion and was told they must wear at least capris or jeans. Enjoy!
TravelingDiva1 Posted January 6, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2010 due to mosquitoes. I did zip lining in November in capris, and wish I would have wore pants.
